Not sure about buying bread by the loaf? They are definitely open, as in still in business. They lost a close family member recently, and they closed for a bit to mourn. Other than that you should definitely go there. They post their hours online
The bread with which the Cuban is made and at midnight is different. And the triplet has jamon, pernil and steak.
Loved the food. So hard to find a place like this. The fried pork chunks with rice, beans and Plantains are AWESOME!
When I eat lunch here I feel like I'm in a cafe in Havana. The food is authentic, simple and delicious.
Real Cuban food, like what we had in Florida. Small inside, really friendly staff. It's a great place for a quick lunch.
Friendly, clean, and delicious. Cafe de Leche was phenomenal, and my sausage & potato breakfast burrito tasted fresh and not overly heavy or greasy. Loved it!
The best Cuban restaurant. Highly recommend the Cuco's Deluxe sandwich or just about any daily special.
The food is wonderful. The staff is really nice. The restaurant is really lovely, especially on the inside. If you can stop in when they are open, they have some of the best food you'll eat in Dallas/Fort Worth.
Great little sandwich shop. Had the deluxe cubano and no complaints. Took the wife to try her 1st one the other day and she is still talking about how much she loved it!
Great tasting Cuban and Yuca fries. The place was packed...with good reason.
Best Cuban sandwich in DFW....hands down!
Good food and good service. I'm not used to salami on a Cuban, but the taste is good.
Amazing. Love this place everytime we go.
I love this place. I always stop by here whenever I'm in the neighborhood. Love the Cuban sandwich!
Thanks to my buddy for bringing me here. The Cubano sandwich my favorite!
Fabulous Cuban Deluxe Sandwich & plantains!! Love this place!! The Cuban coffee is the best in town, best since Miami
Got the "Crokette sandwich", fried bananas and coffee, all for over $15.00. Everything was good but the Coffee deserves 5 stars alone. I feel like it was over priced for the amount of ingredients in the sandwich. As you can see there was barely anything filling the bread. I tasted mainly the mustard and bread. I do recommend this place but i feel like they can definitely do better as far as making sure every sandwich has the right amount of veggies and meat....but definitely go grab some coffee.
Best Cuban sandwich in town. I wish I could get over there for lunch more often.
Will be back, Cuban sandwich was excellent.
Great Classic Cubano taste with a twist!
They are wonderful, and the food is great, as well as the price. The best is the cuban coffee yummy.
Which goes first, great food or very good, kind customer service? Both are true here. I got the Cuban which was very simple and delicious. We also tried both the chicken and ham croquettes. Both were very tasty with the chicken winning out for me. We also got the savory plantains. If I had to choose between plantains and croquettes, I would get the plantains.I highly recommend this place. Their hours are limited to basically lunch, which is not a problem, just look for the hours.
This place has great Cuban sandwiches and the service is great as well. The only thing I don't like is that they close so early.
Best Cuban Sandwich in Texas. You'd have to go to Miami to find its equal.
An awesome Cuban sandwich experience. Hours are a bit unusual, but the food more than makes up for it. I used to live across the street and would stop in for a coffee or sandwich when I could.
Off the beaten path .. always looking for some good Cuban food. Great menu for breakfast to lunch. We shared the lunch special fried pork black beans and rice with plantains. Dessert was some Cuban espresso. Next time will try more from menu.
Im puerto rican and this is a hole in the wall cuban sandwich shop. People are always friendly. If they would just fix the front door so i could open it.
Hidden gem of a Cuban sandwich shop. We haven't dug too deep into the menu because the mainstays are so solid -- like the Cuban and the media noche. They have a soda fountain with coke products, but also have several cans of soda that must be Cuban, along with some basic Cuban grocery items. Always a fun stop when they are open when we're in the area!
The Daily Special always hits the spot, espcialmente con un Café con Leche.P.S. Don't You dare forget the flan 💙
Food is good the staff/ owners super friendly. Its cozy clean. Attitude of the place is great.
What a hidden gem! Awesome sandwich (had the Cucos Deluxe) and the best cafe con leche outside of Barcelona.
Great place, we love their sandwiches. Very friendly :) I love the coffee.
Amazing warm sandwiches! Very friendly staff. The delux is a sandwich drink and chips. I filled up on half of it and gave the other half to my husband. Only one star off because it was a tad longer wait than what I’m used to but I think they only had one girl making them. GREAT PLACE!
Lovely atmosphere, very cheery and pink decor. Made me feel like I was visiting my grandmother and she made me some very good sandwiches and nice piping hot fries. First time I tried yuca frita and was very pleasantly surprised. Music was peppy! Very good experience.
Cool sandwich shop with very friendly staff. The Cuco’s Deluxe sandwich was one of the best I’ve ever had. Y’all check it out!
Love it, small but so good. Good customer service.
Menus were clean, easy to read, & offered a wide array of Italian fare, along w/ great prices. All good...!!!
I just Love this quaint little shop it's authentic Cuban and the same family been running for many years, I always order the Cuban on flat bread / Yuca fries and a drink a little bit over 10 bucks but well worth it, The pork, ham, pastrami are well distributed and the mustard and pickle just come together perfectly the flat bread needs a strong bite to flow into mixture providing and really aromatic taste before you begin the chew goes. I fine myself Everytime here having one of those rare chewing experiences with my mind being overwhelmed, with flavor, and pure enjoyment . Its best to catch this one during non peak at lunch tables are what's available they have some area outside also but it is also what makes it unique sharing your experience with those around you
For years I've been going here time to time and the taste is marvelous and the attention as well and very down humble the people the food is excellent but gotta try the Cuban Sandwiches the best ....
Pretty good sandwiches, fast service.
My favorite Cuban sandwiches!!!! A little small building. Dont let it fool you. They are only open for a short time each day. Lunch time. Very good.
AMAZING FOOD AND STAFF! A DEFINITE MUST GO!!
Having lived in Miami and now living in DFW I have to say this might be one of the best Cuban food places in the area, nothing beats the home feel of the Cuban food it took me back, outstanding flavor and authenticity 10/10
Best Cuban sandwiches and Caribbean food
Hands down the best Cuban sandwich!
I have been going here 15 years! Sonya makes an excellent Cuban sandwich or classic Picadillo. The also make Coffees in various Cuban styles. Definitely worth a visit!
I hate to give this place a three star rating but I'm only doing it on the sandwiches and not on their customer service which is excellent. They are super sweet and very accomodating, but their Cuban sandwich is not a Cuban sandwich. I read a lot of reviews saying this was the best Cuban they had ever eaten. It's clear now that they have never had a real Cuban sandwich. I really wanted to love the sandwich but I was disappointed, It was tasty but it's not a Cuban. The sandwich doesn't have swiss cheese, if it did it was so little I couldn't even taste it and it should not have salami, It's basically a panini. Their croquette sandwich is basically out of a box and you can put that together yourself at home. Go extra Cuban and put ham and swiss cheese if you're cooking it yourself. Their pork chunks are good and you should have them with some maduros. Have a Materva or an Iron Beer to top-off the meal.
It's just like being home!!.. Delicious latin food!! Great staff...
Friendly Service and good food.
This little jewel is a traditional Cuban Sandwich Shop. Great flavors, great sandwiches, and wonderfully friendly staff. This family owned and operated business has been one of the greatest finds here in the Dallas/Ft. Worth area since relocating from South Miami, FL.
I have been wanting to try this place for awhile and finally got around to it. The lady at the counter was very friendly and helpful, on the phone as well as in person. There is a very authentic feeling at this restaraunt and the sandwich was delicious. It's hard to mess up a cheese sandwich but Cuco's made a great one!
Staff was very nice had a tuna sandwich would have preferred just tuna then if I wanted anything else on I could have added
